They are still around - these bands who perform their music live in small clubs and get some attention once a while for an album or single release. These bands who don’t consider their music as the neccessary evil to become rich and famous but as a passion! As a desire that must be fulfilled. These bands that hardly care if their music is “in and trendy” or not and rather carry proudly their guitars around while others show more ambition to travel with the latest version of a mp3 player.
These days the term “handmade music” is used and it actually fits perfectly to the sound the italian three piece presents on their album “would you believe?”
Instead of calculated soundsequences they let their emotions run the songwriting, leave it to them to compose the song and just add some precise cuts here and there and to reach the optimum.
And they even took the risk to cover one of the most precious songs of the darker genre...and they did it perfectly well. Not a pathetic version like Paul Young did, more likely a very own version of that passionate song like The Swans created. You should be aware that we talk of "Love Will Tear Us Apart".

JAN KENNETH BARKVED is dead!

it came like a total shock to me when I heard that ELUSIVE vocalist Jan Kenneth Barkved was found dead on October 28th 2009.

At this point I can only express my deepest feelings towards his family and friends. We will all miss him. There are thousands of things coming in mind, memories of times spent together but words yet fail me.
