They are still around - these bands who perform their music live in small clubs and get some attention once a while for an album or single release. These bands who don’t consider their music as the neccessary evil to become rich and famous but as a passion! As a desire that must be fulfilled. These bands that hardly care if their music is “in and trendy” or not and rather carry proudly their guitars around while others show more ambition to travel with the latest version of a mp3 player. These days the term “handmade music” is used and it actually fits perfectly to the sound the italian three piece presents on their album “would you believe?” Instead of calculated soundsequences they let their emotions run the songwriting, leave it to them to compose the song and just add some precise cuts here and there and to reach the optimum. And they even took the risk to cover one of the most precious songs of the darker genre...and they did it perfectly well. Not a pathetic version like Paul Young did, more likely a very own version of that passionate song like The Swans created.

Individual maturity and artistic growth led Even Vast to an evident separation from their initial sound, rather heavy and slow, that marked out Hear Me Out in 1999 and Outsleeping in 2003, two albums that, however, made the band appreciated by criticism and that aroused interest of many people, specially on the outside. April 2007 was the date of the renewal’s outcome: the third full lenght album “Teach Me How To Bleed”, recorded at the H-Soundstudio. By means of ten tracks, this album is capable to pass on the most instinctive and passionate attraction of the band towards the decadent dark-wave sound (even if the music’s still keeping some traces of the past). One of the tracks featured in TMHTB is a cover, Love Will Tear Us Apart, taken from Joy Division’s repertoire. During the recording sessions of TMHTB, Even Vast have experienced, for the first time, some electronic grooves. In end 2007, they decide to modify the moniker in Even More Vast (stabilizing definitively as a trio) and go record three brand new songs (INLY, LOONY, PURE) which feature some interesting novelties. The mastering is entrusted to the experience of Greg Calbi (Sterling Sound, New York). The three new songs are featured in a promo cd that reaches various labels worldwide. One of the labels was Pandaimonium, and so on Oct 23rd the european version - fully remastered and added with a bonus track - of "would you believe?" is released. There is also a promo single Inly as download available.
